The Galleria Al Maryah Island just got bigger and better

So much more to experience from September 4th.

The Galleria Al Maryah Island turns six this year and just like the mall, the experience for the Abu Dhabi community is about to get a whole lot bigger.

Adding to the existing Luxury Collection and award-winning Dining Collection, The Galleria’s expansion will open on September 4th, bringing with it an unmatched selection of high-street brands, incredible dining options (including a unique concept designed by architect extraordinaire David Rockwell called Central Kitchens), and three levels of thrilling entertainment for all ages.

On top of all that, the expansion will also introduce one of the largest cinemas in the region, a 21-screen VOX Cinema with IMAX and 4D technology, and urban rooftop parks (one dedicated to recreation and leisure, and one to sports and an active lifestyle).

All this means that as The Galleria gets bigger and better, so do the options for the community to eat, play, shop and indulge every day.

We already know The Galleria has some of the best tasting dishes, not only in Abu Dhabi but in the world. Soon, they will be joined by 70 new causal restaurants and cafes like Bouchon Bakery and Blaze Pizza, as well as Central Kitchens, a first-in-the-region dining concept designed by David Rockwell and inspired by locations in Singapore, The Hague and New York. Feeling peckish?

When we say there’s “something for everyone” we mean it. From edutainment venues and amusement centres for youngsters and adventure zones for teens, to active lifestyle areas and relaxing recreational parks for kids, parents and grandparents, The Galleria is the new centre of the community in the heart of Abu Dhabi.

The Galleria will have all your high-street heroes from H&M and Debenhams to a huge 35,000 square foot flagship Zara. There will be plenty of niche, cool and funky fashion options too like Scandinavian street stylists Monki, contemporary design gurus COS and first-to-Abu Dhabi brand Missguided. In fact altogether, there will be 300 more stores to choose from. Did someone say new wardrobe?

Of course you can still treat yourself with The Luxury Collection you know and love (and FYI that’s getting bigger too – Chanel, Valentino and Piaget are all making their new home at The Galleria). And what’s better after a shopping spree than a bit of indulgence at the Dining Collection? With restaurants like Zuma, COYA, Roberto’s, Nusr-Et and La Petite Maison, there’s always something new to try at The Galleria.
