Abu Dhabi stays

The UAE'S capital boasts plenty to do for tourists, residents and day-trippers. Whether you’re visiting or living here looking for a pampering staycation, Abu Dhabi offers some brilliant hotels

Rosewood Hotel

The first of the American brand’s locations in the UAE, the Rosewood Hotel has been a part of Al Maryah Island since 2013 and the boutique hotel brand’s sense of luxury perfectly matches The Galleria and its opulent surroundings.

The ultra-luxury hotel’s architecture was inspired by the glistening waters of the Arabian Gulf, with the modern structure’s curvilinear, glassed façade suggesting movement and shimmer. Inside, the décor is sophisticated and warm, featuring a living room feel, walls graced with regional art and comfortable surroundings.

The Rosewood Hotel offers 154 rooms and 35 suites, each featuring some great, modern amenities not always found in hotels of the same star rating, including iPad room navigation system, A media centre with 55” flat-screen TV, oversized Villeroy & Boch bath tubs and Pratesi Egyptian cotton linen. One of our favourite features is the floor-to-ceiling windows from which you can view the beautiful waters of the Gulf.

Four Seasons Al Maryah Island

Home to some of the most beautiful views on Al Maryah Island, this is Four Seasons’ first hotel in the UAE capital, and opened its doors almost a year ago on Al Maryah Island. The vibe in the hotel is ‘urban chic’, with a focus on modern comfort.

The property comprises 200 rooms, 38 suites and 124 private residences available for sale or long-term rental (who wouldn’t want to live right near The Galleria?).

Dahlia Spa, which just opened in the property, has its own expansive, private pool terrace which is positioned to catch the sun all day long and offers a sparkling panorama of the skyline. In addition to the specialist spa treatments, Dahlia has a heated hydro pool, sauna, steam room, hammam and an ice fountain for the bravest spa users.

The Four Seasons is also home to Butcher & Still, a 1920s, jazz-era inspired Chicago style steakhouse, as well as five other F&B options and 24-hour in-room dining.
